About the Program:
These meetings are part of Tiffin’s planning for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. The city is eligible to apply for $150,000 in state-managed federal funding for the 2026–2027 cycle. This funding supports projects that improve neighborhoods, infrastructure, and housing.
To qualify for funding, projects must primarily benefit low- to moderate-income residents or address conditions of slum and blight.
Eligible CDBG projects include (but are not limited to):
- Street, sewer, and water improvements
- Park improvements
- Housing/building rehabilitation
- Demolition of unsafe structures
- Facilities for public and community use
- Economic development assistance to for-profit businesses
Each session will include a brief overview of the CDBG program and a review of past projects. Your input will help the city identify and prioritize future improvements.
